I recentrly discovered a place located in Leipzig. You may say it was just a coincidence. I dove there to buy some Materials for my husband: paper, pencils. colors for his arts work.

We landed at a spot call the Spinnerei. A place full of history, once was a Cotton fabric in Leipzig, now the place has turn finto Art galleries which bring people every day to visit the different Galleries and local artist. 

All Galleries are free of charge except for the Gallery number 14. You would need at least one hour maybe more to walk trhough the entire "Spinnerei". 


They also have a small Pension for tourist that would like to spend the night in the Spinnerei. 

I was amaze of this innitiative how to recover spaces. If you are planning to next trip to Leipzig and have some time, you are interested in history and art. It is the prefect place to stop by and spend a couple of hours.
